Meredith Law firm took care of my mother's estate and treated her with dignity, patience and compassion. My father passed a year prior to seeking their assistance. He did not leave a will so we knew all too well how important their services are. I recommend them highly for addressing all the issues with your loved ones estate.

Estate Planning

The main idea behind estate planning is that we work together to devis the best possible plan that will enable you to distribute your estate in accordance with your wishes.

I believe that comprehensive definition encompasses all aspects of Estate Planning and communicates that it is more than just having a Will or plans in place for when you or a loved one passes away. There are three components to Estate Planning that I work through with my clients:

Trust & Estate Administration

The loss of a loved one is a difficult thing. We are here to assist you in this process so the legacy of your loved ones can be fulfilled.

In its simplified form, Probate is the process of transferring assets that were owned by the person who died (the decedent) to his or her heirs or beneficiaries. In Texas there are some very good laws and methods which make it a fairly simple process.
