Ten years ago, I bet you never wondered, “What happens to my social media presence and online accounts when I pass away?” But today, that is, or should be, a consideration. Along the same lines, you should also consider compiling all of your usernames and passwords for your online accounts. For example, your ebay and paypal accounts should be closed when you die but who knows how to log into those and shut them down? Or for those of us who use online banking or pay bills online, is there someone who knows how to log into the system and conduct transactions if you are unable to do so? I recommend keeping a list of all your online accounts along with the username and password for each so they can be managed upon your incapacity or death.
